The arbitration team of Lex Torre won the case that was rendered under the Arbitration Rules of Stockholm Chamber of Commerce

The arbitration team of Lex Torre represented by advocate Maksim Zhukov and partner Alexandre Khrapoutski with the assistance of associate Valeria Silchanka won the case that was rendered under the Arbitration Rules of Stockholm Chamber of Commerce (SCC).

Our team successfully represented respondent in the dispute – German company that is specialized in the delivery of chemicals for the use in pharmaceutical manufacturing. Claimant in the case was Russian state owned pharmaceutical company that raised the claims to repay advance payment, penalties and interests.

The dispute was resolved under CISG and German law. All claimants claims were denied by the Arbitral Tribunal and avoidance of sales contract by claimant was declared to be invalid.

This case is the further evidence of high competence of our team in international commercial arbitration and international sales of goods as well as competence in disputes that are governed by foreign law.
